FluidNC CNC control interface
A web interface for CNC status, jogging, spindle control and G-code file management, integrated with FluidNC over WebSocket and HTTP.

Images and interfaces
The problem
Operating a CNC machine requires axis status, motion controls and job files in one accessible interface.
Solution and data flow
A dedicated FluidNCAPI layer separates communication from presentation. WebSocket carries status updates, while HTTP supports files and configuration. The interface presents connection and axis state alongside jogging, spindle and command-terminal controls.
Implementation and challenges
The code supports uploading, reading, editing and running controller files, Flash and SD storage, network settings and camera sources. Synchronizing device state with the UI and handling connectivity are central challenges. This is an operator interface for FluidNC, not a replacement for machine protection circuits.
Skills developed
Device protocol integration, status parsing, web HMI design, G-code and file management, and separation of transport from interface logic.
